but soft, Gentle.  you are so reasonable you bring tears to my eyes.  i will 
try to be kinder.  i only came back on the list, after all, because my 
latest shipment of dvd's was being held up in customs.  i will look for this 
elusive 'signal' you mention.  i will try to tolerate the flaccid abuse, the 
grammatical errors....
