Casting About.....
     ....I jest couldn't refrain from offering my two-sense worth....even as I was reading the book for the first time, I always envisioned Donald Pleasance ("Good Evening, Mr Bond.") as Blicero.  With mebbe Christian Slater as the young Blicero.  
    Any chance of getting Charlie Kaufman to write a screenplay (for Terry Gilliam to direct) about some poor schlemiehl trying to write a screenplay about some screenwriter trying to meet Thomas Pynchon to help him figure out how to write a screenplay about trying to turn Vineland into a film?
