What's the deal? Who makes it?

If Prairie is Pynchon's Paranoid Protagonist it makes perfect sense
that everyone might be in on the deal and that she/we will never really
know who made the deal and what the deal actually was.

We know that Brock Vond was involved in the deal. His motivation is
both Political and Personal. Note: Brock Vond is **NOT** a Reagan
Revolution Conservative, his opposition to the holy triangle (Marx) and
the life force is mythological and gnostic.

We know that Hector was involved in the deal.

We know that Zoyd was involved.
Frenesi was involved too.

What about Sasha?

Zoyd says that Brock is convinced that Sasha will keep Frenesi away from
Prairie (VL.305.4-5).
I think Brock is right.
I think Sasha wants to keep Frenesi away from Prairie.
Sasha would like to keep Prairie away from both Zoyd and Frenesi, but
she can't. She knows that if she doesn't make peace with Zoyd, she risks
losing Prairie to the State. She makes a deal. Does Sasha's deal work?
I think it does. Consider what happens to Ché (Ché's and her family
double Prairie and her family) and Justin. Frenesi, for her part, wants
to separated from her only daughter. Hector, even his Mexican American
family values can't save his marriage, does everything he can to keep
the family together.

Quest: Looking for her Mother
Antagonist: Brock Vond (ordinary human but also a demonic figure at the
mythological level, he comes from and will return to, the World
Below)
Hero: Takeshi (ordinary human being, but also the Deliver who comes from
a World Above, the life force)
Dialectic: Prairie/Takeshi (the reader's values are bound to these two)
& Brock/Frenesi (death force, demonic decadence of the
homo/homophobic-fascist World Below)
Conflict: takes place in, or at any rate, is primarily concerned with,
Our World in the Middle, characterized by the cycle of life and death.
there has been a disruption (gnostic technologies, far
above and below the levels of Takeshi and Brock), and the Middle World
has Fallen into or has been penetrated by the World Below--Thanatoids,
etc.,
Brock's (at the mythological level) shadow, the death force, is upon the
face of the earth, darkness, confusion, sterility, moribund clinging to
the past, old scores, revenge, Ate and dogs of war (Antony, JC). etc...
