Amongst other things, yes. I think you can certainly make connections
between the man and the texts. But I was thinking more in terms of the way
he and his works are perceived in general, on the mystique or reputation he
has garnered. I don't agree that his choice to avoid public appearances,
publicity, reporters etc is a myth.
