I would be an exception to this generalization. I agree with the views 
of the interview while am suspicious of its authenticity, and share the 
political views of those who read 9-11 all over the 1984 essay. I just 
don't see my politics as identical with Pynchon's, nor do I see his 
novels and essays as representative of my politics.
