 That all depends upon how you define Communism. I have known Marxists who
shudder at the idea of an agrarian "communist" state. Marx was a European. I
don't think he thought industry was a bad thing. He thought that the wrong
people controlled industry. What Saloth Sar, the Issaraks, and the PRK were
into was a whole different ball of wax. It sure as hell wasn't worker
control of the means of production. Lech Walesa was more of a Communist than
Pol Pot.
