New York [off topic, sorry]

Hi all

I'm going to be in New York for a week next month, and would appreciate any
p-listers' recommendations on anything worth doing/seeing that might not
feature in the guide books. Anything Pynchon-related, obviously, but also
anything that might keep our 15 year old amused. Also, I'll be staying near
Carnegie Hall, so any good eateries you can recommend in this area wold be
helpful.
