Are we a global police state yet?

The practices in Guantanamo, Iraq, Haiti, and Afghanistan say it all. We have established a government which practices collective punishment, inmprisonment and torture without hearing,  without representation,  without legal process.  You can't  rape someone overseas and claim to be faithful to your wife at home.  This regime was not created by legitimate electoral means, and we still have no idea  how or what really happened on 9-11.  Bribes are offered openly in the Congress.  They are fast at work to set up computers to rig the next election(Of course we know this is coming from a groundswell of popular activism).
