To Quote Groucho...
...."Let's get together later and share a little "stake" between us!". Given the graphically genital symbolism of _V._, we can only hope and anticipate an "up-and-coming" novel from Pynchon symbolically entitled "_I._", about a young woman's quest to discover the mysterious origin of someone referred to in her mother's letters only as "I.", who may or may not be her true father. This quest is then juxtaposed against her own psychosexual fetishes, insecurities, desires, fears, and so on. The symbolism may be less than clear here, depending on your computers font designation.
Let's be Syria's, foax. I am reminded of Roth's ramblings; of Vonnegut's "low gravity daze"; but when it comes to male sexuality, nobody writes about dem pesky lil "new directions" (is that what Kerry's campaign slogan is really all about?) like ol' TRP. It is almost as if he has one of his own. Slothrop, Blicero, Pirate, Brigadier General Pudding, Osbie Feel, Tchitcherine, Gottfried, Zoyd, Brock, Mucho, Benny, Stencil, etc......we're all in this together! As enlightened women unnerstand, and will testify to; where it leads, surely we will follow.
                                                 truly,
                                                 ruud
