VLVL "happy ending"?

Oh, man, don't.  All that avocado dip alone ... we
were out grilling 'TIL 6:00 a.m. Sunday, then back at
it (for "breakfast") at noon (with The Bent sceptrs
and The Diplomats of Solid Sound, by the way, Tim),
then again ca. 5:00 p.m. (me, i at least caught the
Life of Brian re-release without going totally
food-comatose).  But, yeah, thanks, Tim, for
getting--and KEEPING--the ball bouncing.  On my end,
I'm only sorry that interferenece from my offscreen
life held us up long enough for Terrnace to miss a
rare hosting window of opportunity.  So you get to get
us going NEXT time around, right?  In the meantime,
I'm hoping to bat a little clean-up (on Thanatoids, on
Tsorrek, on a whole buncha stuff) o'er the next
few/several days, time, will, and the ability to find
my back issues o' Pynchon notes plus a few other
select items willing (YOU all try rifling through a
few hundred bank boxes of books in cramped basment
storage space for something you packed in a
sleep-and-sanity-deprived frenzy nigh unto half a year
ago now).  But I imagine we could use a well-deserved
break otherwise before we begin bickering about what
to read next ...
