This would be amusing if, for instance, we conveniently forget basic facts such as that the the nazis were for the most part catholics, elitist literrateurs such as Eliot and Pound were catholic-fascists, that monotheists, whether prot., cat. or muslims have a history or incredible bloodshed and tyranny,.etc.. You also overlook Marx's argument for historical materialism. I'd say the fundamentalist is you--and fundamentalists typically don't argue for Darwin or materialism, do they. Although this will remind some of alt.atheism 101, the burden is on any theists or mystics or non-materialists to establish the existence and continued viability of the "ghost in the machine."
