And Naumann did tell all this in the famous radio show on Pynchon.

Much of that radio show went into the cd "Rasterfahndung." I've got not that
much time these days but I will listen to it again and make the interesting
parts available.

To me there's nothing new on the next novel, but I don't expect that our man
did the Simpsons because he wanted to promote his next book. I believe he
just did his son a favor:

"We depict him with a bag on his head, (.) He helped write the jokes. One
reason he did the show is he has a son who's a fan."
