unsubstantiated rumor that Melanie Jackson denied Playboy Japan "interview"

When I said that the messengee was me, I meant it. This
tallish wannabe has been immersed by "An Imperial Message"
since his midteens. It was only later that I reactively
referred to the notorious, tragicomic "limericks&lawyers"
farce of a couple of years ago.

Why wouldn't I confess that I'd like to belong to Melanie
Jackson's inner circle? After I had written the pastiche,
I actually felt the urge to trace down her e-mail address.
Finding it was quite easy, hackering was not necessary.
Not that I would write to her in any foreseeable future,
or deliver the address to anyone else.

I think I wrote an essay on Kafka's story during my first
year in high school. Luckily I can't recall a word of it.
More than 25 years later I suddenly wanted to relate it
to the - now gently simmering, now spastically spurting -
epistemological comedy I'm in, one called pynchon-l.
