First off, thanks for all the stuff I missed. A
fill-in rush job during a very busy week (1600 unread
messges at this address alone, and NONE of that is
spam). But, while I can hardly calim to have read all
too much of him, Barthelme's The Dead Father is well
worth a read (Snow White I've yet to get all the way
through, but that's my bad ...), and any given short
story collection by him makes for good browsing (esp.
that "Joker's Greates Triumph" one). Okay ...
