In spite of getting 800 on the verbal SAT when she was 12 and the "close
readings" of an "International Baccalaureate" high school program, my
daughter, who will be 20 soon and who was home for my BIG birthday party
this past weekend, has hardly ever read any of the great books that I have
recommended, but is now reading GR. I am SO pleased! Really I am. Whew!

My *son* has read GR through. And he's 12.

Unforunately he doesn't get credit at school for having
reading it because it's not listed on bookadventure.org. Sigh.
