My sample includes two very observant pugs.  They easily recotgnized my 
patterns and anticipate what I'm going to do next.  They have at least some 
sort of empiricism that says, "He's doing "X" now, so I think there's a good 
likelyhood that he's going to do "Y" next.  I'd say they were entertaining 
some sophisticated theories about my behavior.
