A Trove of New Works by Thomas Pynchon?

Good points, Dave. Obviously, reading closely the
uncollected works of a writer is going to be a
specialist's gig -- there's usually a reason such
works haven't been collected and published, lack of
interest being a common one -- but PYNCHON-L is after
all a specialist forum.
Even in such a forum, not everybody is going to be
excited or even interested -- Toby a good example --
and that's understandable, too. What's difficult to
understand is one or two clowns throwing rocks,
harping on the issue of whether or not these works by
Pynchon (and critical articles about these works) are
an appropriate subject for discussion on PYNCHON-L:
that sort of criticism does serve to stifle
discussion, and it is just stupid, and of course
that's no surprise, either, given the source in this
instance.
