Another best novels list

Subject, as I am to your baleful influence, I'm working on The Emigrants 
right now....


There are several references, at least in the first two 'stories' to 
Nabokov.....in the first, there is an additional reference to Kaspar Hauser...

I suspect this is more evidence of my "fugue state" theory for Pale Fire....

any comment you can offer?
