Thanks for adding the Eco, especially my fave, FP. If you could see 
the next 10 on my lists there would be a lot of replication from 
these lists! And The Cairo Trilogy   by Naguib Mahfouz, and Things 
Fall Apart  by Chinua Achebe were some other international "also 
rans" for me.


Btw, I'm getting some excellent recommendations here with these 
lists. JR has been on my shelf for ever so long and I haven't even 
peeked. (shame) Neuromancer is up there also.
