I recognize Aeschylus for (as I recall) he is touted as predecessor
of Virgil and of Dante in describing a descent into the underworld.
---
It's worth quick mention that I recognize in descriptions of the cult
of the Essenes, probably the actual referent involved is autofellatio,
or the poetic metanoia as I call it, not a drug's psychoactive effect.
---
I may have sleighted the ladies! It seems to me, that if it has taken
me about twenty years (1980-2000) of study in decoding autofellatio in
the bible before I could recognize that there was not only a place, but
established evidence for autocunnilingus, then a simliar failure must
be typical of the mostly male poets and avatars of all ages and lands.
It may have been the following web page that caused me to recognize
autocunnilingus for the first time, for I remember when discovering it,
that I had been excited about such being the theme of Song of Solomon.
The whole of the old testament book, Song of Solomon, stands out as
descriptive of autocunnilingus. Therefore it stands apart from all
of the other bible books that predominantly show forth autofellatio.
I suppose the web page author below is ignorant of this possibility
upon the Goddess data that he had concentrated for some other reason.
Cinderella Bib. - Criticism & Analysis by Russell A. Peck
"Cinderella personifies both the exiled human soul,
cut off from Paradise and her Mother and Father in heaven, and
also the 'light' of the Holy Spirit of Wisdom which is hidden
within the soul, unsought and unrecognized until events are set
in motion by the appeal to her 'God'-mother" (p. 52). In this
role she is like Sophia and Persephone; like the Bride in Song
of Songs she undergoes trials in darkness prior to her royal marriage.
Solomon, like the Prince in the story, once he sees her is consumed
with love for her and seeks her until he finds her. Midnight marks
the interface "between the dimensions of eternity and time....

Since Zeus took the form of a dragon to hide, I position that near
the Revelation 12 dragon event, which is associated with the female
re-birth of a male child, that I say describes the second metanoia.
That numinous event for me was also goat-like, a common metaphor for
this stage, which can be recognized in the likeness of the torso to
a giant head, as I describe elsewhere. This was in lotus position,
thus called sitting on Hera's lap. That Zeus regained his own form
resembles Tiresias' healing, his being returned from female to male.
Apollo, a child of Zeus, had pipes, like Pan. And I recognize Pan
in the goat legends, so pipes probably pertain to pap self-suckling;
whereas autofellators have (are) harps, a non-breath type instrument.

Dionysios is one of the youngest / last gods, and Dionysios was
much claimed by Nietzsche (whom I recognize as having attained
many or all of the stages of transformation), suggesting to me
that Dionysios may be the culmination of them all.
