Pinching Women

My then-wife read GR and COL49, partially in order to better understand me
and what the fuss is about.  I didn't notice the call letters KCUF until she
pointed them out to me.

Could the reason for so few P-Women be the same as for the paucity of female
comedians?  A rad-fem-lesbian told me years ago that the way that you know
that you're in a feminist bookstore is that there's no humor section.  But
seriously, most guys try to be funny and many women are kind enough to
laugh.  Does the process of reading Pynch somehow almost involve the reader
in creating humor, partly in order to stay removed from the fray?
