I think I've made plenty clear my reasons for finding
the article lacking. ("Does what it does effectively"
isn't much of an argument either, so far as that
goes.)
You think the article works; I don't. I think it's
lazy, unremarkable, and would be remembered by no one,
were Pynchon's name not attached.
