Definitely, I have a few pages on Pynchon. Some amusing stories and
descriptions (he had a walrus mustache in the sixties, he was a "movie
freak" according to Cork Smith), among other info to guarantee he'll never
talk to me. 

There are also anecdotes about the naming of Catch-22, which Donadio sold
and claimed was named for her birthday, about selling the film rights to The
Godfather, a lot about her friendship with Stone and others. She and Pynchon
were close friends for a long time. Some of you may know that she sold 120
of his letters, which happened a couple years after they had a falling out.
(It only takes a few Google searches to piece together the circumstances
around their split.) She was quite a complicated person, and at the center
of the literary scene in her day.

And thanks for sending a link to your translation - it must have been a cool
project. Makes me more curious about M&D.
