Pynchon and Donadio

Hi all--

The Tin House article on Pynchon's former agent was quite good; it
seems the falling out between them was pretty harsh. I didn't realize
that Melanie Jackson worked under her.  It would appear that there are
many interesting bits in Pynchon's letters which the Morgan library
now has and probably why he was freaked about their access.

One strange thing: that Pynchon apparently wanted some movie-tie-ins
of his books and was not happy that Donadio didn't pursue it.

and it is suggested that Pynchon wanted a clean break from his former
life after meeting his future wife--that implies alot--maybe I'm
reading too much into this.
