I've seen it, back then when it was aired on German TV (ZDF, if I
remember correctly), but that's been more then 20 years ago. I don't
think it's available now (or ever has been), unless someone recorded it
and the copy is still good (anyone?). My recollection of the plot is
somewhat hazy -- after the principal character, Oedipa, returns home
from a party, she finds a letter sending her on an errand searching for
her sister (?), who seems to have vanished/died/whatever. Oedipa goes to
Berlin, where her sister used to live, meets some strange people in
strange places etc.. As I said, it is only very loosely based on Lot 49,
but the novel's influence is quite obvious.
