Pynchon 1984 Intro

For anyone else who'd like to read the unexpurgated version I can fax a 
copy - contact me offlist with a fax number. Just after the book came 
out, _The Guardian_ published an article which was an edited version of 
Pynchon's Introduction - it left out about 1/4 of the content of 
Pynchon's original. The blog text below incorrectly advertises itself 
as the full intro. In neither the Guardian article nor the blog text is 
there any indication where the cuts were made (or even that they were 
made).
