plascencia

[paolo beneforti]

i'm reading salvador plascencia "the people of paper" (someone noted 
this novel in the list, weeks ago, right?). with an half of the book 
read, i'm not decided yet if it's a masterpiece or merely an odd novel.
surely plascencia writes in enchanting style; in some way he puts 
notwith a not traditional latinoamerican voice in his narration, a voice 
that rises also above the fragmented, surreal plot of TPOP.

any other opinions among so keen members of the list?
