Nietzsche / Yet another "Another"

Upon hearing everywhere of Nietzsche's "God is dead",
I thought I would find it to mean that "an essential
aspect of God is that he is dead", as in the death
and resurrection of the Phoenix, or of Jesus, etc.

But his own words did not bend to this reading.
