Sorry, just went for the annotations (same guy who did
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, no?) and then the
first thing that popped up that featured that line
prominently, so people could see immdiately its
immediate, u, "relevance" here, is all.  It's okay,
though I'm perhaps of two minds about the premise and
its execution.  Nonetheless, I've read and reread the
graphic novels collecting the previous series, so ...
