I remember browsing Pale Fire as a teenage in a drugstore, but not
buying it because the narrator didn't seem to have much sympathy for
his own daughter. Perhaps as an adult I'd enjoy it more, do you
think it would be worthwhile to read in conjunction with GRGR?

I've succeeded in making a couple gnuplot graphs of rank-frequency in
KJV and GR, though not yet content with their content
since it wouldn't be prudent to send attachments to the list, now need
to think about putting content on one of my empty websites and posting
a link

I read a post on this list recently that included that statement.
Can't find it though it sounds like maybe a jbor thing to say?

More than a beast with two backs, one creature with two bodies
"unaware of itself" - the awkwardness of self-consciousness lost (one
of the Plato dialogues talks about this, I think - primevally we were
these round creatures but broke in half and always looking for our
lost other half)
Beaver and Jessica aren't actually married yet - so she is just
playing the field with Roger, there isn't adultery involved (CSMA-CD
instead of token ring) -
the war (specifically the detonation of the revenge-weapon) provides
the shock that overcomes Jessica's inertia (the hundred miles between
herself and the stranger)
but there is a real compatibility there that they are tapping
