Our mistake, I know, but we were young and naive, those were the Clinton years (and then, earlier, it was, along with Gorbatshov,  Bush sr. who enabled the German reunification while that Thatcher bitch said something to the effect that "we didn't beat 'em up twice just to see them rise a third time").. HipHop in bloom, real perspectives for Israel/Palaestina, and
 there you had your German Linksamerikanismus. Those were the days.. Today we'd definitely prefer multi-polar world politics. Like millions and millions of people all over the globe. Don't know if this passed the filters of your foxified media, but Putin, Schroeder, and Chirac they just had another meeting. The three men also talked about nuclear weapons.. You know what, I'm really glad (can't believe I'm writing this) that the French have the bomb, too (although I know the Americans love their children: Boo!) ..  While we're at it: Iran has, if you - in a Kantian way - do distinguish the empirical from the normative aspects, every right in the world to fabricate nuclear weapons! Sure, we all would like to live in a world where nobody or, for some of you this sounds perhaps even better, only your very own government does possess the Bomb. Human, All-too-Human. Yet no argument in any relevant sense. Especially not in that region where neighbors like Pakistan or Israel do already have
 nuclear weapons. A-and then there is this constant invasion-threat from your so called Land of the Free  .. This has become a small planet, the Monroe doctrine is dead ---
