It doesn't come down to those choices.

What do you mean 'my mob' - apart from my omission of identification with 
any particular tendency you have made an awfully easy leap from G8 
protestors (in their hundred thousands)  to those violent brick throwers 
(measured in hundreds).

As I said they will do the least necessary to placate public opinion. 
Writing off debt does nothing to alter the dynamic which will inevitably 
lead back to a similar point for millions of different individuals in the 
not too distant future.  Writing off debt equates to the usurer accepting 
pennies in the pound. The lending goes on, the murderous system is not 
questioned. While I may be as naive/ignorant  as Geldorf and company - I'm 
not setting up the well meaning innocents for a descent into cynicism or rage.
