And for that very reason, I can't "support the troops." I
supported them wholeheartedly in the First Gulf War, but this time,
now, "the troops" should have known what they were signing up to
support this "home of the free and the brave," capitalist state.
Telling me they need the jobs is no excuse for what many of them are
doing. "Support the troops" is a mindless piece of fluff to give the
illusion on cars and radio stations that "Americans support Bush."
Nonsense. We need to "support the peace."
