Hmm, makes me think of his first one, Ghostwritten, which read like a 
succesion of short stories linked together by a character, a place, a 
spirit... Some nice moments, but it seemed rather amateurish overall. Of 
course, since then Mitchell has bettered his writing skills so maybe 
this time around it will prove a little more captivating.
