This is a book I took from the library, read a few pages and then bought
a copy, but then never went back and read it. I want to get around to it
one of these days.
Interestingly, a friend told me that the British edition is significantly
longer than the American and I just did some surfing and can verify that
the American edition had 422 pages while the British 530. Evidently
Random House thought there was some "fat" that needed to be trimmed.
So here's your challenge, Joe. Find the British edition and read it and
report on what was left out!
