Hi

being a long-time visitor here I can say that I think we are
anticipating the next book or article, etc. from Mr. P--that tends to
distract me at the moment (even if a new novel never appears, if
anything I've learned more about Max Born, Oppenheimer, Gottingen, and
german science in the early 20thC over these last couple years)--every
day I an expectant and hopeful in this dreary current world
dispensation.

been reading the essays in Mindful Pleasures (circa 1976) about V, 49,
and GR--refreshing in the sense that the articles are written for the
general reader or easily understandable for the most part.

the hope that Pynchon's work not be teased to death like Joyce
industry has sadly come about--seems the novels now are not discussed
in toto but in ever finer slices.

oh well...
