I have a backup copy of the zipped PDF files in the Pynchon directory on my
ftp server, the address of which is in the p-list archive.  Please note that
the file is backed up there for my use, and while it may be legal for other
people who have lost the files that they were given (or bought!) the files
and have lost them to download them (and I'm not saying it is), it's
probably illegal for people who have never owned the files to download them,
so don't (not that I would know if someone downloading the file had
legitimate rights to it).

It wouldn't surprise me if Jules's people would sue people for copying a
book that is comprised of copies their messages, and then made a book from
the ensuing case and included the new messages that would appear on the
p-list on the subject.  Lineland 2, while less Pynchon, would probably be a
bigger hit and perhaps...  Hmmmm....
