Yeah, as am I. Begin not particularly well read aside from Pynchon
and a Joyce, I decided I shouldn't even bother, though it would be
amazingly easy to fake up a list just by browsing the archives. They
are definitely of the "like to look like we know a lot" type of
person. The best part of your whole thing was the 18 year old chick
calling you a liar. I almost actually laughed at that. apparently
people aren't allowed to be actually well read.
Oh yeah, and the note about how eveyrone only likes Lot 49 and none of
the rest of his stuff. To me, being admittedly snap judgemental here,
of course that's true, because it is the only one most of you have
read, since it is barely long enough to be a novel (page wise, though
more than enough for a novel in ideas). I could be wrong there, but
yeah...
