But then I'll be in competition with such things as this

 radio-microwaves hitting her in a Morse code pattern.
 The transceiver (transmitter/receiver)
 for the signals was a fiber optic receiver made to look
 like a pubic hair that repeatedly burned holes in her
 underwear.
 Apparently,
 this side effect is a "bug"
 they haven't gotten out of the technology.
