I'd have to dig through a hundred or three boxes
currently in storage (or, uh, walk upstairs at the
library here ...) to find referenecs, but there WAS
some consideration of using whatever radioactive
material the Reich had at its disposal for a so-called
"dirty" bomb.  But that any work was completed work on
even a small fission weapon, much less by a team of
lesser scientists, well ...
