Luddites and my real life

Does it count if I read real books instead of ... er... no, I
download books and listen while I walk the treadmill at the gym.
But I *want* to be a Luddite! I read magical mystery things like
Garcia and Borges and Carter. Does that count? I do read them in
real books with pages.
I think this counts (so I get to be a Luddite, too :P ) because
"the laws of nature (are) not so strictly formulated..." ( see the
essay). "The machinery is gone." The stories "insist on the
miraculous." Even Mason & Dixon, my fave, is of the magical,
the Ludditian variety, in certain respects. Would you agree that
M&D displays a Luddite sentiment? Or is Ben Franklin pervasive?
