The Holocaust seems pretty obvious in GR, especially
in the passage culminating with Pokler's visit to
Dora, on pp. 432-433, not to mention the many other
references and allusions discussed in multiple
readings of GR in this forum, and in any number of
articles and books, but maybe that's not what's meant
here by "foreground" .
