I was sort of hoping to pass the ball on this since
Norm seems to me like Freud on acid or our own Mr.
Scheper -- a bit too radical for me.  I won't have
access to my copy of the book until this evening but
I'll take another look at it.  I was browsing in it
last weekend and noting labyrinth / dream / death /
anal-birth (!) connections with the opening section of
