I think y'all are doing just fine. If anyone feels
slowed down, well, jump ahead. If anyone feels things
are moving too fast, well, stay in place, jump back,
even. This isn't going to be, nor has it ever been,
one big Coversation, so much as a whole lotta smaller
ones of various magnitudes, intensities, momenta, et
al., and maybe even a few people muttering to
themselves (like here, for example) ...

Like I've said when I've hosted, I'l try to keep the
drinks refreshed and the hors d'oeuvres a comin', but
mingle, mingle, that's what a party's all about.
Except without a host, it's BYO, or hope someone else
brought enough to share. And there's no particular
time at which someone's gonna grab a particular coat
and hustle it and you to a particular door. Which,
hosts, scehdules, or no, is the way it's always been,
anyway, so ...

So I'm just gonna nurse this one in a corner for a
while, and maybe later then ...
