poss. of a new P book

[Will Layman]

The rumor has long been that it is about a female Russian mathematician at
the start of the 20th century.  This story is based on someone reporting
that they had helped Pynchon with the research.  My guess is that this is a
small part of the book, not necessarily the main course.
