the page gives his time of death as "thought by some to be" 8:20 am -
he would have been shot in the evening...and says some have noticed
that (possibly in memory of this), conversations pause noticeably at 20
after (each hour)

Slothrop could have carried that custom over to London, but would it
give British typists pause?

But it does mean there is at least one myth about 8:20 am...
