Continuing on color spaces, I wondered if I overstepped my own
knowledge about 'purple'. I got a coworker, knowledgable about
color printing, to show me purple on the CIE color space graph.
He named off the "standard" names: red, orange, yellow, green,
then skipped over the cyan, and went on to name blue, violet.
Illuminated primaries are red green blue, whereas printing has
cyan, magenta, yellow. When asked why he skipped it, and would
other people skip it, he said it depend what you are doing and
referred these names to a "color wheel". Purple is when violet
tends toward blue.
Here is a picture of a rainbow against a dark background,
and you can see that there is no violet in it:

You may see violet, which is the mixture of red on sky blue:

Actually, a Honda CH250 scooter engine. That same month,
I had the insight into the parts of Ezekiel Ch1 as an
internal combustion engine, although it was not perfect
until I later owned a four-cylinder fuel injected engine.
And then my exposition of Ez. Ch 1 became fully accurate:

These days, pondering that cycle has freshly invigorated
my analysis of the Revelation sevens: From an originary
wet-dream-in-navel, like a spark at TDC, I was propelled
through four whore encounters (white, red, black, green).
Then, leaving the US Army, I had read in French zine Omni
about autogenic relaxation, and was trying it often. It
happened that I fell asleep with a rubber band around my
penis, and awoke to another, painful, wet-dream-through-
something-into-navel, as a spark initiating a new series
of four, these being O-linked: of a different character.
On of my meditations in the first years of mental illness
was based on the first commandment: "Hear O Israel." So
I would go around "hearing" Ohhhh..., which results were
remarkable: breasts were just popping out of all blouses.
In light of the color cycle, I can reposition event 4.5,
that Hell following #4 death, as a barfly who'd mount me
and rock herself silly while I merely got speedily drunk,
as the white cycle; Lesbo with red paps as #5; Wife with
black paps as #6; a still-undetermined (by me, "silence
in heaven") seventh. And together, those all make eight,
following the momentum of engine rotation, not reflected
around event number four, or following any other pattern.

Hey, you did it too! What about cyan/turqoise/aquamarine?
Other things my co-worker said are, women have finer color
discrimination than men. I said, from decorating houses?
He said, while we were killing animals, they had to tell
poisonous from non-poisonous plants. Also the Japanese
have more color awareness, comparing our Pantone swatch
book (indicating 2" thick) to their Toyo system (about
9" thick judging by his hands). Color discrimination in
the greens is best: printed page testers pick out errors
in green far better than other colors. I said, What about
the color of flesh? Ever put the spectrophotometer on
your own skin? He suggests it is near the center of the
color wheel, a complex mixture of colors, towards orange.
Cometman went on to reveal to me another clear AC fellow:
Many fine numinous symbols here. Loved the snake on her shoulders:
