Well, it certainly might trickle down (pardon the punn) to his followers,
but as long as no legislation is put into the works (because of its somewhat
blatant tie to the taboo of church vs. state), then I'm okay with his
stating what he thinks (however wrong it may be). I'd rather him do that
then try to hide some agenda (cough, Iraq, cough).
