Didn't intend to hurt your feeling...I mean feelings (
I often forget that I'm the one with only one feeling
);...we're not really mean...we aren't laden with
schadenfreude...we want all to get along...we just dig
a fiesty dispute, that's all...jeeez..now I'm getting
all misty-eyed and stuff..: (...feelin' like Roger
Mexico when he realizes Jessica is leaving him for
Jeremy Beaver...)...course, all the Pynchon detractors
would say that scene is unrealistic or unconvincing
because he can't render emotional reactions
authentically....then again, most of 'em probably
don't get that far into the book in the first place...
