yeah...Particle Man has special resonance for me...I
would probably also add Laurie Anderson to the list;
her performance-art music shows ( concert wouldn't be
quite the right word ) were, if not ground-breaking,
at least quirky and certainly a cute parody of
everyday perceptions and bits of Americana....
